In our capacity as market leader, we are also committed to delivering the very best degree of safety for all your guests. KLAFS heating systems, for example, include integrated safety features and are tested and certified in accordance with the latest DIN standard “Special requirements for sauna heating devices”. We have also developed a whole host of further clever ideas to ensure complete relaxation both for you and your guests.      Take a look for yourself.

KEYGUARD. An on-site key-operated switch patented by KLAFS under the name of KEYGU ARD is used to turn on the sauna heater. The switch is integrated into the outside wall of the cabin and may only be operated once supervisory staff have carried out a visual inspection of the sauna. This system does not require any additional display or door supervision.

BONATHERM.  The KLAFS BONATHERM underbench heating system is certified by the German VDE  and offers protection against accidental touching by being installed under the benches as its name implies. This means that any danger of fire can be excluded even in circumstances where such objects as a towel, raponsing bucket or head rest is placed on the heater cover.

Touch sensitive safety switch. Our touch sensitive safety switch checks via a stainless-steel grid mounted above the heater whether objects have been placed on it. The heater immediately switches itself off if objects are detected.

STEAMIX.  STEAMIX goes to work where hot steam is introduced into the cabin. Because it is mixed with fresh air just before being injected into the steam bath, the steam is always hot without ever being too hot.

STEAM PROTECTOR. The STEAM PROTECTOR is an additional precaution aimed at making a KLAFS steam bath even safer. A glass plate fitted over the hot steam outlet makes any kind of direct bodily contact impossible.

EMERGENCY BUTTON. And of course there is always the EMERGENCY BUTTON, large and red and impossible to overlook should an emergency situation arise.  At KLAFS we take your safety seriously.
