KLAFS creative connections at Interbad 2010
Schwäbisch Hall, December 2010. At this year’s Interbad, KLAFS presented a whole range of product innovations, including a highlight: The world premiere of Wolke 7 Cloud 9 by sha. Thus this spatial work of art by the Viennese artist and perception researcher sha., conceived exclusively for KLAFS, could be admired by visitors for the first time. One of the most prominent visitors, the mayor of Stuttgart Dr. Wolfgang Schuster, was able to testify for the deeply relaxing effect after only a short rest on Wolke 7 Cloud 9.
On the opening day of the trade fair, sha. personally explained his thoughts on the creation of the holistic spa and its multisensory effects, which convey an intensive and sensual experience. “Wolke 7 Cloud 9 provides a specific experience for today’s high-performance society in order to achieve an inner balance and, with it, deceleration. Phenomena of deep relaxation are combined here in a particularly sensual and artistic manner with invigoration and inspiration”.
The organic shape of Wolke 7 Cloud 9 invites you to let go in order to rediscover yourself in a relaxed and well protected way in the midst of a “cosy, warming medium”. Changing coloured lights and cloud-like relief structures communicate endless depth of space and weightlessness. Those seeking calm experience a reorientation of the senses thanks to the swinging movement: The visual aspect recedes into the background and makes way to sensing, hearing and smelling. This was confirmed by visitors to the KLAFS stand, who were invited to experience Wolke 7 Cloud 9 for a quarter of an hour: relaxed trade fair visitors described their first experience variously as a “journey to my inner self”, a “flight through space”, or as “rapture in the here and now”.
A creative connection
For private customers and hoteliers, who wish to see a sauna and steam bath in a harmonious design within a space of only 130 cm x 300 cm, KLAFS presented a smart and attractive combination of both of these classic bathing forms. Clear design and energy saving technology are the impressive features of the combination of D12 steam bath and Lounge Q. Due to its use of a specially-designed shower tray, the combination can easily be fitted in retrospect into any area. The compact size and glass front means that this spa combination can fit in especially harmoniously in every atmosphere, while the high-quality finish of the Zen-inspired construction and innovative technologies such as the patented Optisteam technology in the D12 steam bath are particularly impressive.
