The company KLAFS GmbH & Co. KG exists since more than 70 years. In 1928 Erich Klafs founded the company in Stettin. Back then Erich Klafs founded an enterprise specializing in medical spas and hospital necessaries which was re-established in Schwaebisch Hall in 1945. Early on Erich Klafs recognized the therapeutic benefit of the sauna and as a result the first sauna was installed in a hospital in 1952.
In the following decades the company KLAFS experienced a respectable increase with its saunas. Branches have been set up in Germany as well as subsidiaries in Austria, Switzerland and Poland. KLAFS disposes of a sales network of more than 40 sales offices and therefore can offer and ensure a qualified and personal consultation by thoroughly trained specialists.
After having a tremendous influence to the introduction, the establishment and the design of sauna the company developed to the unchallenged market leader of saunas, steam baths and spa areas.
