The spa at the Wald und Schlosshotel Friedrichsruhe features a warm, homely and natural look which delivers a sensual and holistic environment. The design concept is modern, yet unobtrusive. The high-quality walnut furniture and select materials used generate a sunny and lively atmosphere. The Friedrichsruhe Spa Suite features wenge wood highlights and provides somewhat more of a masculine look. The SanVino Suite offers the best venue for a couple to relax together. The Friedrichsruhe spa offers generous space in the purpose built three storey spa building, which connected to the main building via a sensual walkway. Here, the planners from Rizzato Spa Consulting, the interior architect Niki Szilagyi and the architect team of Thomas Müller created together with KLAFS a hideaway that harmoniously combines different concepts for future spa developments. As an example, international hotels are including separate spa areas to accommodate the growing demand in female and male only areas. The reasons for this lie in the quite different cultural and religious backgrounds of the guests. Therefore, KLAFS fitted the Schlosshotel Friedrichsruhe with a communal area of saunas, brine and steam baths and Sanarium cabins as well as a refreshing ice grotto. A Kelo outdoor block sauna completes the spa zone mixed use. In addition, there is a separate women's world in a suitable colour with natural tones and a soft form language: Here, too, the bather is invited to enjoy stylish relaxation with steam bath and Sanarium of the highest quality and in exclusive surroundings.
