Applicable for nearly all the classic KLAFS sauna range, the GREEN SAUNA package offers wellness gourmets not only perfect relaxation for the body with every sauna session but also reduced impact on nature and the personal bank account. It takes no more than touching the glass button and the Green Sauna functions are activated: An automatic closing flap for the ventilation system and the double-layer EcoPlus ceiling ensures that warmed air maintains its temperature even when the energy input is reduced. Lights and extra features, such as sound devices, coloured light or light objects only operate while you are actually in the cabin. This is how you save over 40 % of the energy consumption with the GREEN SAUNA package.

We take our responsibility seriously and have, for many years now, ensured a sustainable resource use. Our real wood veneer panels, for example, was the first sauna timber to receive an eco-label from the Institute of Wood Technology in Dresden. Blue Angel for KLAFS Saunas.

For the first time, sauna cabins have received the Blue Angel eco-label, and are, therefore, designated as an ecological product alternative. All the KLAFS saunas of the element and solid construction series now clear tell the consumer the environmental credentials in the selection and processing of the materials. The Blue Angel is the first and best known eco-label in the world. It is only awarded to products by an independent jury, if they can fulfill clearly defined environmental criteria. Since 1978, the Blue Angel has been setting the standard for ecological products and services. With the Blue Angel it is now official: At KLAFS, consumers can purchase saunas, that have outstanding sustainability credentials.
