Klafs sauna Pure

Only recently launched but already award winning: Pure, the new sauna by KLAFS, has been honoured with the iF product design award 2010. This turns it into a benchmark of precision and form, with a consistency in material and quality that never fails to impress. An international jury honoured the world market leader with the award for its true-to-form newly conceptualised sauna. It was chosen from among almost 2,500 products of the internationally recognised “Bathroom and Wellness” category. We are especially pleased about the nomination for the German Design Award 2011.

Our PURE sauna looks just a beautiful as it feels. Alongside the elegant pure white version, the sauna exterior can be adapted to individual design preferences. The model fits harmoniously into a stylish home. The generous glass corner emphasises the expertly composed design – creating an attractive exterior perspective and interesting views from within. The walls and the interior spaces are completely furnished from hemlock - no wonder that you get a good feeling simply from looking at it.

The interior is a match for its exterior with regards to elegance. The SUNSET indirect lighting and invigorating COLOURED LIGHT, which, thanks to LIFTLIGHT, tightens the skin. It is not only the lighting that makes the interior of the PURE sauna stand out. The fine and perfectly worked slats from high-quality hemlock make every sauna session a very special treat.

For the first time a sauna receives the renowned iF Product Design Award in Gold.

The time had finally arrived - March 2, 2010 - the award-winning design, the PURE sauna from KLAFS, entered the Olympics of the international design league: As one of just 50 products, the PURE design sauna belongs to the best of the best - down from 2,500 contenders from 39 countries. The sauna PURE - presented to the public in October for the first time - set standards in form and precision and impressed the jury with its material consistence and quality. What is particularly attractive about the interior, are the layered straight lines that have been achieved with precisely worked rods made of high quality hemlock. Pure’s exterior has a fresh shine to it thanks to refined exterior cladding in white high-gloss varnish. As in the case of the multi-award winning saunas Ventano and Proteo, the design seen here can once again be ascribed to the renowned design team, Henssler & Schultheiss. Since 2 March 2010 this award winning sauna will be introduced to about 250,000 international visitors at the iF product design award exhibition 2010 at the former Expo site in Hanover, Germany.
