Are you sour?
why not visit the sauna?
Luxury food such as coffee, alcohol, cigarettes as well as fast food and sweets are commonly consumed in modern societies.
Like so often in life, these quick pleasures are not the best for the body. These foods lead to over-acidification in the body tissue and disrupt the acid-base balance. Stress, problems and noise create acid in the body. Most people have slight over-acidity in their tissue. A balanced acid-base level in the body leads to a higher quality of life and prevents civilisation diseases.
Good to know that regular sauna bathing removes toxic acids from the body.
In combination with physical exercise and a balanced diet, you can relax and reduce you acidity! The best basis for a harmonious acid-base balance is a diet of 80 % alkaline and 20 % acidic foods. Nearly all fruits and vegetables are alkaline. Herbal teas and sauna bathing help remove unwanted toxins from the body.
Dr. med. Ulrike Novotny, author of the books "A Passion for Sauna" and "More Enjoyment in the Sauna", recommends mindful sweating: "Heat improves the blood flow through the body - this washes out the over-acidic substances from the skin and lower skin layers, but a large amount of salt is removed. The active sweating produces up to 20 – 40 g of sweat. After three sauna sessions you may have lost up to 1.5 l of body liquid. This also extracts salts and waste products from the tissue, which are removed with the perspiration."
The ratio of acid to alkaline in the organism contributes substantially to the basic regulation of the body.
It influences the immune system, the breathing, the circulation, the digestion and, not least, the hormone level. The cell metabolism also produces acids, which are then ideally given off via the kidneys, the lungs and the skin. The body tries to balance out an over-acidification by drawing on alkaline nutrients and body-own minerals. A steady removal from this supply of minerals drains out the body. And that is how you feel: The toxins can be the reason for a weaker immune system, for joint, muscle and headaches, for digestive problems as well as many chronic illnesses.
