TAOSENSA®
The foot zone therapy experience from KLAFS
TAOSENSA® is the unique combination of three natural components for your Spa area.
the Ground is the challenge
The ground challenges the body, creates an information need for the body, so as to keep the balance, and stimulates the organism. It determines the kind of movement and influences the stability of the person. The ground is the image of the earth, of stability and earth connection.
Movement as a basic need
Motion is a basic human need. The simplest, most natural activity for humans is walking upright. The motion stimulates organ systems through the continuous necessity for physical adjustment.
The foot as a sensing organ
The foot transfers information and allows proprioceptive (body reflexive) messages. The information gained from the foot about the characteristics of the surface is sent to the body. Likewise, the body transfers information to the foot which are essential for keeping the person walking upright. This gives the foot the status of a sensing organ (touch) and, therefore, needs continuously changing demands and stimulation, that it can send to the body. The human foot has a special relationship with the body: the foot allows upright walking. From an evolutionary perspective, this was a prerequisite for the development of our intelligence. The foot is a platform and at the same time an image of the entire human body. It is it's own micro-system.
