Vitasol Therme

Bad Salzuflen, Germany

Idee & Konzeption

As a transparent glass structure, illuminated with coloured light, the steam bath and brine cabin underscore the open and spacious character of the pool area.

Features

Total area: 1,700 m² spa landscape. Glass steam bath with red and black tiled free-standing steam fireplace and bench. Glass brine bath, tiled in green and black, with graduation house that feeds the air with brine from the depths of Bad Salzuflen.

Between the pool and solariums, under the gallery, stand the transparent steam and brine baths, through which the thermal room almost seems to flow. The architects based the "metamorphosis" on a number of essential design criteria: transparent, flowing transitions, as well as warm materials, strong color tones and special lighting effects, which here characterize the appearance of the bathing hall and give the space its unmistakable character.
